Code Shepherd

formerly Back-end Developer & SysAdmin

Writing code since 2008. Started out as a sysadmin in 2013 — already writing back-end code alongside it — then focused mainly on back-end development from 2018, and picked up DevOps in 2020. These days I mostly write plans and let AI agents write the code, then review what comes back — that’s the shepherding part. Off the clock: running on caffeine, recently learned to drive, traveling solo when I can, and happiest reading history, watching documentaries about it, or talking psychology.

Pingu.tr: Ping, MTR, Traceroute ve Browser Ping

· 8 min read

Pingu.tr is a network measurement tool. As its name suggests, its main job is to run ping tests. For this, I created probe servers from my own servers, across different networks. When you provide an IP address, Pingu.tr runs ping, traceroute and MTR tests through these probe servers.
